This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

My partner and i found this place for lunch and we were mainly interested in the pho options. Interior is nicely decorated, similar to a tropical forest cafe type vibe, love the decorations all around. We were seated pretty quickly despite a busy restaurant during lunch hours and our orders were placed pretty quick as well. Pho combination & Pho beef belly were our two choice and portions are pretty big. The smell of both dishes felt very comforting and was very much fulfilling. Both dishes were really well made and I could tell that it was fresh as well. Was also noted that you can get unlimited noodle refills but none was needed as the two dishes were already fulfilling. Will definitely keep that in mind the next time I visit Omeli Kitchen.

The food is amazing, portions are large, and prices are very fair. The $16.95 short rib pho comes with two huge short rib bones and unlimited noodles! Such a good deal. My favorite was honestly the lomo saltado, the fries were so crisp and the filet was so tender with a delicious, smoky wok fire flavor. The spring crunch slaw is a steal at $6.95, it’s a ton of slaw for such a cheap price and the peanut butter/chili oil dressing is bomb. It was pretty busy when I went, but they brought out the food amazingly fast for how big of a group was seated ahead of me. Definitely recommend this spot.

O’meli Kitchen is a standout for anyone looking for elevated Vietnamese cuisine in Orange County. They skip the shortcuts and focus on high-quality proteins and vibrant, house-made sauces. The Standout Dishes Oxtail Fried Rice: This is the definition of comfort food. The oxtail is shredded directly into the rice, so you get that deep, savory beef flavor in every spoonful without having to navigate around bones. Topped with a sunny-side-up egg and fragrant Thai basil, it’s a rich, cohesive dish that hits all the right notes. Soft Shell Crab Curry: The execution on the crab is flawless—perfectly crispy and light. The accompanying yellow curry is aromatic and creamy, providing a great balance to the saltier crunch of the crab. Shaken Beef Rice Bowl: The beef is clearly a premium cut, seared to a perfect tender finish. It’s served with a fresh salad and a bright green chili-lime sauce that provides a necessary zesty kick to the savory steak. O’meli Kitchen manages to feel sophisticated while remaining approachable. The service is professional, and the kitchen's attention to detail—like shredding the oxtail for ease of eating—shows they really care about the guest experience.

This Vietnamese fusion food was great. Its a little hidden gem in the corner of the shopping plaza. Its a small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and the wait time was decent because there isn't enough tables to sit everyone. The wait was definitely worth it. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Pho Supreme, the Pork Rice bowl, and wontons (Fried and chili). The broth in the pho was so good and everything tasted fresh. You can never go wrong with the lomo saltado which is one of Peru’s iconic dishes. Its meat, rice and fries either veggies on top. Its so good. I highly recommend it. For being a small restaurant the decorations really give this spot an earthy relaxing vibe. This place is a great place for a date and to enjoy favorable food.

Loved this restaurant. Fun and cute decorations. Love the flowers and garden vibe. The food was excellent. The spicy cucumber salad was tasty. The dumplings and wontons were so yummy and you could see them prepping freshly. The short rib pho was excellent and it was great for sharing. We had the best meal. Would love to come back!!
